Yes — all Excel courses at School of IT are delivered 100% online via MS Teams or Google Meet. You study from Potchefstroom with a qualified, experienced Excel trainer at times that suit you. No fixed class times, no commuting required.
If you are new to Excel, start with Excel Level 1 — Fundamentals (4 hours, R3,750). If you already use Excel regularly and want to work with PivotTables and advanced lookup functions, Excel Level 2 — Intermediate is the right next step. For professionals who need to build dashboards, use Power Query or analyse large datasets, Excel Level 3 — Advanced covers everything you need.
No prior Excel experience is required for Excel Level 1. For Level 2 and Level 3, some existing experience with basic worksheets and formulas is recommended. When you enquire, School of IT will help you identify the right starting point based on your current skills and your work requirements.
Excel Level 1 is 4 hours. Excel Level 2 is 6 hours. Excel Level 3 is 8 hours. Because training is live 1-on-1, you can progress at your own pace and schedule sessions around your existing commitments.

Yes — you receive a School of IT Certificate of Completion after finishing your Excel course. The courses also prepare you to sit the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel certification, which is an industry-recognised credential you can add to your CV and LinkedIn profile. The MOS exam is booked separately through a Microsoft testing centre and is additional in price.
