Well first of all in South Africa, coding which also known as programming or computer programming is a scarce skill! Which we mention in our previous article Why Learning to code is important. Thus many people have begun to learn the basics of coding, whether it’s online short course, or a programming short course.
Which in turn are all available at School Of IT Programming Course. Thus a short course in programming prepares you more than enough for the workplace and to go onto more advanced programming course.
Often people tend to take 1 year or 3 years to learn programming, which is fine. In turn what you can learn in 5 days or a month can be more than what you learn in 1 year! This is a fact, I personally see it more and more as a Programming Lecturer.
At School Of IT, we offer our Short Programming Course over a period of 5 days, 30 hours. In turn we feel like this is enough to grasp the basic concepts of programming and start thinking for yourself to take it further. In Addition often if you don’t know the basics of programming or practically anything you can progress or self discover!
Why Learn to Code or to programme through a Short Programming Course?
The importance of a short programming course stems from the world of digital, from agriculture to the motor industry, everything requires technology or IT. Thus if you don’t get ‘onboard’ or have the passion to learn to code, in turn you will be left behind. The importance of a short programming course. In turn Programming in c# (pronounced c-sharp) is a Microsoft Language. In turn makes use of the .NET Framework and is an object oriented language and is also known as the ‘all in one coding framework’. In addition the IDE (integrated development environment) used is Visual Studio.
Examples of well know applications built using c# code: NetBeans and Microsoft azure , NetBeans and HandBrake , Visual Studio and Banshee to name a few.

Programming in Java is one of the most popular programming languages worldwide as it’s platform independent (meaning you don’t need much resources to run your application/programme) “write once, run anywhere” (WORA).
In Addition java was run by Sun Microsystems, but was acquired by Oracle.
