1. Enrollment Agreement
  • Enrolling in any course with The School of IT International (Pty) Ltd creates a legally binding agreement under South African common law.
  • By registering, you agree to meet all conditions of enrolment — including punctual payment — in exchange for the educational services provided.
2. Exclusive Instruction
  • You may not arrange private or additional lessons directly with a School of IT lecturer outside the official course structure, without prior written consent.
  • Doing so without consent may result in immediate termination of enrolment without refund.
3. Lecturer Assignment
  • You may be assigned up to five (5) different qualified lecturers over the course of your studies, depending on scheduling, subject specialisation, and operational requirements.
4. Online Instruction
  • All courses are delivered as online distance learning via remote instruction platforms (MS Teams / Google Meet). School of IT operates fully online with no physical venues.
5. Session Hours & Course Validity
  • Sessions run for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per calendar month.
  • You must maintain continuous progress in line with your course's total duration, without unauthorised extended breaks between scheduled sessions.
6. Rescheduling Policy
  • Sessions must be rescheduled at least 5 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Sessions not rescheduled within this window count as attended and will not be rescheduled without additional fees.
7. Class Attendance Policy
  • You are the sole participant permitted in your scheduled one-on-one lessons.
  • No third party — including friends, colleagues, or family members — may attend or observe a session without express written permission from School of IT management.
8. Instalment Payment Structure
  • For courses paid in instalments, payment for the next instalment is due within 3 working days of completing the prior interval.
  • Late payment may result in interest charges and liability for the full remaining course fee — this obligation is non-negotiable and legally binding.
9. Important Payment Notice
  • All payment schedules are contractually binding. Late payments may incur administrative fees and interest as permitted by law.
  • Continued access to course materials and instruction is contingent on maintaining current payment status.
10. Non-Refundable Policy
  • Changes in personal circumstances are not the responsibility of School of IT and do not constitute grounds for contract cancellation or a tuition refund.
11. Cancellation After Commencement
  • Any course cancelled after registration and payment of the full fee (or first instalment) is ineligible for a refund once the course has officially commenced.
  • Once instruction has begun, all payments made are final.
12. Certificate of Completion
  • You receive a School of IT certificate of completion upon successfully finishing your course.
  • This certificate confirms participation and completion of course requirements — it is separate from any international certification exam.
13. International Exam Pricing
  • Quoted exam fees cover exam booking on your behalf, administrative processing, and complimentary practice materials.
  • These fees are separate from School of IT's course fees and do not reflect the certification vendor's own retail exam price.
  • Exams may be written via online proctoring or at approved testing centres worldwide, and require your personal credentials to be shared with School of IT for booking purposes.
14. Exam Booking Validity Period
  • Where your course includes an exam, it must be booked and written within 5 months of course completion (your final scheduled session, or when your contracted hours are exhausted — whichever comes first).
  • If not booked and written in time, the exam booking is automatically forfeited: non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-creditable toward any other course or exam.
  • You are responsible for booking your exam within this window — School of IT will assist on request, but the deadline remains your responsibility to meet.
15. Curriculum Modifications
  • Course syllabi and curriculum content may be modified at the discretion of the assigned lecturer, to accommodate individual learning pace, industry developments, and teaching best practice.
16. Software and Subscriptions
  • Certain software applications and platforms are not included in course fees or courseware — including but not limited to Microsoft Azure subscriptions, AutoDesk AutoCAD licences, and Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions.
  • You are responsible for acquiring any necessary software licences independently.
17. Intellectual Property Protection
  • Course materials, lecture notes, and all proprietary educational content remain the property of School of IT and may not be sold, loaned, copied, reproduced, or distributed outside your personal study for your enrolled course.
  • Unauthorised distribution is a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.
18. Employment Assistance Disclaimer
  • School of IT does not guarantee employment or job placement.
  • While career guidance and job placement assistance are provided, securing employment remains your responsibility.
19. Course Scope & Personal/Work Projects
  • Instruction is limited to the official course syllabus, delivered using School of IT's own course materials, examples, and exercises (or reasonably similar alternatives chosen by your lecturer).
  • Lecturers do not complete, debug, or otherwise perform personal projects, freelance work, or your own workplace tasks and deliverables on your behalf — including assignments, reports, code, or systems belonging to your employer or personal ventures.
  • Sessions are for learning the curriculum, not for having your own work done for you.
